Administer a system of standards and accountability measures for career and technology education programs. Coordinate test scheduling activities with test site personnel for end-of-instruction and licensure testing.

Position officed on-site at CareerTech in Stillwater, OK. Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of background check.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products

PREFERRED:

  • Two-year technical degree or Associate degree
  • Three years’ experience in data processing, testing evaluation, or career and technology education.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter and edit test items in online testing system as directed by assessment specialists and according to division format and style standards.
  • Create item repositories and preparing assessments for publishing and online delivery.
  • Support vendor-provided software applications use in testing processes including technical support and training for customers.
  • Register test sites, proctors, and students for testing.
  • Process incoming rosters for testing – importing, scheduling, assigning retakes.
  • Process daily licensure results validating entries against various sources for accuracy.
  • Maintain HPCP Test Site Directory by updating staff changes at technology centers.
  • Maintain approved training programs list for NAR.
  • Develop and create reports out-of-state results and test tickets.
  • Process certificates for successfully passing end-of-instruction assessments.
  • Use division resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Participate in professional development activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS: Ability to read, interpret, and analyze written communication and documentation. Ability to respond to inquiries from internal and external customers. Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas to customers.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply moderately complex mathematical equations as applicable.

REASONING SKILLS: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems; ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Tasks require extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.

SALARY/BENEFITS: $39,628.81 - $44,673.13 commensurate with education or experience.

  • The state provides a benefit allowance to help you pay for insurance premiums which include health, dental, life and disability insurance.
  • The amount of your allowance, $9000-$20,000 is determined based upon the dependents you choose to include in health coverage.
  • State paid teacher’s retirement pension and flexible benefits plan.

Total salary and benefits package valued at $52,437.52 - $57,861.52.
