ANALYST Perkins Administration
Assist the Federal Programs Division in the organization and operation of the unit responsible for overseeing the administration and distribution of funds for the Perkins V grant. Analyst will process all Perkins claims and ensure claims are complete and accurate, including grant-funding agreements and allocation notices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
· High school diploma or equivalency.
· Strong background in financial processes.
· Minimum of three years’ experience working in a financial setting.
PREFERRED:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
· Background in Oklahoma school finance, CareerTech finance, OCAS and/or EDGAR.
· Experience working in federal grants.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serve as a liaison between Perkins staff and the ODCTE Financial Services Division.
· Oversee CTIMS financial system for Perkins grants; provide technical assistance to agency personnel and all Perkins grant recipients regarding financial processes and CTIMS.
· Process all Perkins basic grant and supplemental financial claims and ensure all claims are complete and accurate; process all Perkins grant-funding agreements and allocation notices.
· Support the development of Perkins state plan; prepare all Perkins financial reports.
· Assist in preparing and informing all Perkins recipients of annual allocation amounts.
· Conduct desktop and on-site monitoring visits about financial policies, procedures and purchases of Perkins basic grant and supplemental recipients; ensure that federal Perkins funds are budgeted, allocated, distributed, and claimed accurately.
· Prepare audit findings, memorandums, and reports that reflect audit results.
· Assist the federal grants compliance manager as requested in areas such as federal reporting, grant awards and allocations, state rules and other areas of program administration.
· Assume and accomplish other duties as assigned.
Salary/Benefits: $45,940.86 - $52,044.49 commensurate with education or experience. Total salary and benefits package valued at $59,224.67 - $65,787.72.
