Our team is growing and we are looking for someone positive, fun to work with and eager to learn who will enjoy helping our customers put together beautiful rooms!
Responsibilities:
-Sell furniture, mattresses and home accessories in person and/or by telephone or email.
-Assist customers with fabric selections and other design elements (floor plans, color coordination, etc.)
-Process orders and paperwork in a timely and organized manner.
-Problem solve while providing customer service.
-Follow up with customers regarding purchases/orders/deliveries.
-Maintain the showroom through cleaning and organizing merchandise.
-Answer the telephone.
-Maintain fabric samples, catalogs and price lists.
-Prepare merchandise for sales and for customer deliveries. (This includes unloading trucks, inventory, assembling furniture and minor repairs.)
Requirements:
-Professional presentation
-Positive attitude and desire to learn
-Eye for interior design
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to develop customer relationships
-Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
-Must be available to work weekends and in the summer
-Must be able to perform heavy lifting (more than 50 pounds)
