Supervises all activities and functions associated with the delivery of services both internal and external of the Economic Development, Business and Industry Services, and Client based training. Actively represents the agency and system in economic development activities both rural and urban as assigned. Supervises Regional Coordinators based on their respective specialties, roles, responsibilities and individual job descriptions. Reports to Director of Workforce Training. Position based in Stillwater, OK. Frequent in-state travel and some out of state travel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED: · Bachelor’s degree · Five years’ experience working with or in Business and Industry PREFERRED: · Certifications related to Management and Organizational Development Systems, Economic Development and Quality Management · Knowledge of the Oklahoma CareerTech system and State of Oklahoma Economic Development Resources ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: § Manage fiscal year and staffing resources for all Economic Development Business and Industry initiatives including Training for Industry Program (TIP), Training for Industry Growth (TIG), Customized Training, Safety, Adult and Career Development and Client Based programs. § Coordinate divisional initiatives and professional development to insure consistent and quality delivery to the field. § Collaborate with internal partners to ensure business and industry/workforce training initiatives are communicated with full-time program and resource center staff at the agency. § Develop and implement accountability measures for business and industry training that are consistent with the agency’s mission. § Research and implement new and innovative training programs beneficial to Oklahoma companies and workers. § Collaborate and partner with internal divisions and external organizations to assure agency and system performance regarding workforce development. § Represent the agency and the system on pertinent boards, committees and task forces that are designed to address economic development initiatives in Oklahoma. § Lead, manage, and empower staff, directly and indirectly, to apply the systems resources in an effective and efficient manner to accomplish the mission of our system. § Participate in technology center Economic Development and Business and Industry Coordinator meetings and conferences. § Ensure Agency has representation at County/District Superintendent meetings as well as Instructional Leader events and activities. § Manage Divisional travel budget. Salary/Benefits: $66,375.50 - $74,861.82 commensurate with education or experience.
